Affiliated Organizations
All registered student organizations who wish to officially become affiliated with Mesa Unida must explicitly serve, benefit, and unite the Latinx community at UC Irvine, as well as submit a Mesa Unida Membership Application to the President.
Affiliate Program
In collaboration with other Latinx organizations we strive to achieve our mission and multiple purposes while also engaging with the new student body of incoming students. Through our four pillars; Cultural Identity/Awareness, Educational Enhancement, Student Retention, and Community Engagement, Mesa Unida alongside its affiliates strive to better serve and help ensure the success of Latinx students here at UCI.

Club information and events included/promoted in Mesa Unida’s newsletter (+2,000 Subscribers on email, Facebook and Instagram weekly posts)
Resource Hub for orgs(continually working with orgs on any issues that may arise)
Attend and support your events however possible (volunteer, advertise, etc.)
Gain opportunities to participate in planning committees for Mesa Unida sponsored events(including but not limited to: La Bienvenida, La Despidida etc...)
Be part of our familia, growing community here at UCI; better relationship and build a genuine connection with other Latinx organizations on campus( boothing at events, Community Service or Social collaborations etc...)

Attend Quarterly Affiliate Meetings (1 per quarter and only 2 representative of your org is required to attend)
Help plan and attend a quarterly Affiliate Social (1 per quarter and 1 board representative is required to attend)
Be an advocate for Latinx Resource Center Efforts
Advertise Mesa Unida Events/Fundraisers
Volunteer to assist with Mesa Unida Events (La Bienvenida, La Despedida, High School Pannels/Tours)
Attend at least 3 Mesa Unida General Meetings per quarter

Ballet Folklorico DE UCI
BFDUCI is a 35+ year old, student-run, organization dedicated to promoting the Mexican culture through music, dance, and education. There is no experience needed and everyone is welcome!

Hermanos Unidos
The purpose of Hermanos Unidos is to increase the retention and graduation rate of latino males in the community. Through the three foundational pillars: Academics, Social Networking and Community Service that Hermanos Unidos will abide by to reach El Nuevo Hombre. The goal of this organization is to provide resources and reach out to the Chicano/Latino community. Hermanos Unidos will serve as an avenue for networking and providing members with enrichment in academics, community service, and social networking.

Students Advocating For Immigrant Rights and Equity (s.a.f.i.r.e.)

MAES mission is to encourage diversity in the science and technology. Society of women engineers (SWE)
The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is the largest non-profit educational and service organization representing both student and professional women in engineering and technical fields since 1950. The goal of SWE is to inform young women and the general public of the qualifications and achievements of women engineers and to encourage women engineers to attain higher levels of education and professional achievement. SWE maintains a positive environment for our members with diversity including race/ethnicity, religion, family status, age, physical abilities, sexual and affectional orientation, actual or perceived gender, gender identity and expression, socio-economic status, occupational focus and more.
